Job Description:
10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years as an architect.
Designing and delivering technical solutions. Required Skills are:
Expert level in JEE architecture and constructs
Expert level in .NET architecture and constructs
Experience with Devops and CICD solutions
Experience with legacy Java,microsoft technologies
Have built, designed and architected applications for Java, Microsoft stack
Ability to do performance analysis and tuning of the Java, Microsoft technologies applications
Must have design, development experience in
1. JEE - 3 years+ .NET - 3 years+
2. Linux/Unix - 2 years+ with exposure to administration
3. VB Script, C#, ASP .NET, ADO .NET, XML, AJAX, XHTML, EJB, JPA, Hybernate, Angular JS – 3 years +
4. Shell Scripting, Java, .NET Upgrades – at least two projects
5. Migration from one App Server to Another (eg WAS To JBOSS or TOMEE) – at least one project
6. Deep understanding of data modelling/UML, Architecture and Design Patterns Expert knowledge of open source web frameworks and databases
7. Hands on knowledge of Development and Test processes including agile methodologies
8. Good understanding of application level security mechanisms and basic level understanding of network security
9. Deep understanding of client SDKs for various cloud services e.g AWS Java SDK
10. Ability to manage resources through available command-line tools, console/portals
11. Ability to understand and ensure NFRs are met on JEE/.NET based solution
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Willingness to venture into new technical areas and come out with technical solutions from a modernization perspective
Desirable Skills:
1. Ability to create, deploy and manage AWS services e.g. EC2, Beanstalk, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, S3, EBS, VPC, Management Console, CLI, etc.
2. Hands on experience in application and database to cloud.
3. Any exposure or experience in a factory model for modernization will be a plus.
4. Some experience in pre-sales from technology solutions perspective is desirable
