Job Description:
We are in search of an experienced Ascential DataStage Developer with over 5+ years of experience. The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide technical leadership in designing/defining business requirements and source system analysis documents, designing job sequences, designing DataStage containers and other reusable components, defining parameters etc. Experience with data analysis, data modeling and the IBM Information Server software running in large data volume environments is a must. Must be able to understand and enforce standards around data classification, confidentiality, and integrity. Must be able to work well with data analysts. The position requires a self-starter who can demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
Desired Experience:
1) 5-7 years of consulting experience related to data integration/ETL and data warehousing implementation.
2) Experience needs to include data mapping, ETL development and testing, and database design.
3) Expertise with implementing ETL solutions in IBM DataStage.
4) Experience implementing database solutions on MS SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 required.
5) Experience working with offshore teams (in this case it is TCS)
6) Ability to hit the ground running
