Responsibilities: The Internal Audit Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Internal Audit Director in planning, directing, and conducting an objective evaluation of diverse operations and controls within St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to appraise the effectiveness of the system of internal control. This position will work independently but collaboratively with other department personnel in accomplishing the completion of the annual audit plan as assigned by the Internal Audit Director. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting/auditing or related field is required. Master's degree in accounting/auditing, business administration, or operations management preferred
Minimum Experience:
Five (5) years recent accounting/auditing experience required. Familiarity with audit data analysis software (ACL) preferredDemonstrated administrative and technical capacity to perform at the senior level. Prefer auditing experience or public accounting experience performing audits for health care clients. Internal audit experience preferred. Applications control evaluation experience is desirableExperience with CCH TeamMate Audit Management System preferred Other Credentials: Professional certification (Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Fraud Examiner) is preferred. If not CIA certified at time of hire, CIA license must be obtained from the Institute of Internal Auditors within two years of assuming the position.
