Job Description:
The Oracle E-Business SME provides guidance and oversight to Enterprise Intelligence Architects on how Oracle E-Business handles backend transactional process flows, table relationships/dependencies, and overall system guidance covering all functional business areas. Core modules used are Financials, Supply Chain and Advanced Procurement

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Dissect Oracle E-Business Suite table relationships to provide guidance to EI Architects on how to properly map data for nightly ETL jobs tied to our Enterprise Data Warehouse. Capture flow of transactions (cradle to grave), derive key structures, and provide direction to ensure an accurate representation of the system.
Map the tables and fields from Oracle E-Business Suite (Financials, Supply Chain Management and Advanced Procurement) into our proprietary data model.
Collect, analyze, review, document and communicate business needs and requirements to IT. Translate high level business requirements into functional and technical specifications and manage changes to such specifications through system development and quality assurance testing.
Perform problem identification & resolution for issues related to specific module(s), functional and business area(s Provide training to prevent problem reoccurrence and knowledge transfer.
Serve as module expert for each functional area: finance, accounting, manufacturing, order to cash, procure to pay, inventory
Comprehensive knowledge of both front end (user interface) and back end processes and relationships within Oracle E-Business Suite.
Contribute to the overall planning and execution of projects and issue resolution including the development of approaches, identifying resources, and developing time lines.
Mentoring and educating other staff members. Assist IT management and end-users to determine feasibility of potential systems projects tied to integration into our current ecosystem.
Fully document testing scenarios on project implementations
Works with the business and IT to build awareness of architecture & product capability along with limitations and alternative options.
Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Monitor production processes, review reports and monitoring tools daily for data quality, performance and on time completion of processes.
In some instances, respond to escalations during off hours (after initial offshore team has troubleshot the issue)
Contribute to the overall planning of projects and issue resolution by recommending approaches, identifying resources, and developing timelines
Follow documented procedures for configuring, maintaining, upgrading, testing, and coding the application/custom interface routines
Ensure best technical practices are followed for all enterprise software development.
Effectively communicate of project plans, priorities, and program status within the team.
Perform detailed tests and review developer’s work to ensure a high level of data quality.
Monitor and document post-implementation problems revision requests. Maps software functionality to business processes.

KEY RESULT AREAS:
Provide technical development and analytical support for Oracle E-Business Suite DW mappings
Review and test code and results developed by offshore resources to ensure results tie to source system
Assist in providing technical direction for future projects
Ensure standard documentation requirements are met

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field/equivalent experience
5+ years of development experience with 5-7 years of that experience in designing, developing and supporting technical solutions for Oracle E-Business Suite
Must have worked in environments using SDLC methodologies and standards. Agile preferred.
Must have strong analytic and problem solving skills
Must have solid SQL development skills
Experience on Oracle 10g/11g databases – preferred
Experience with Data Warehousing solutions – preferred
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud - preferred
Familiarity with multicurrency ERP implementations – a plus
