Provide expert-level Infrastructure design and technical engineering for Elastic Search Ecosystem and Middleware Services. Closely collaborate with the Middleware Solutioning and Enterprise Architecture teams on the design and engineering of stated architectures.
Essential Functions:
Serve as the highest-level technical expert in Elastic Search Ecosystem solutions.
Provide technological leadership to facilitate a collaborative partnership between Application Teams and Infrastructure Teams
Monitor and recognize constraints of specific infrastructure architectures and provide alternate scalable solutions to meet business and project requirements.
Solution the middleware and applications to perform in an optimized way. This includes the installation of these products.
Lead and/or provide support for a variety of project related activities across multiple business units.
Turn over day-to-day operational support of the new middleware/application to the appropriate operations support team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent in training and experience generally required. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
10+ years of expert experience in overall IT infrastructure or application development.
5+ years of experience with Elastic Search Infrastructure Ecosystem including Kafka, Logstash, Filebeat and Kibana.
Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and recommend those determined to be beneficial to the company.
Demonstrated analytical capabilities, ability to effectively identify and resolve technology issues in diverse technology environments.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills (oral and written Communicate effectively with end users, management, vendors and partners.
Ability to visualize ideas into diagrams, presentations and requirement documents.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
