Must Haves:
Advanced Python scripting proficiency as it relates to infrastructure automation on both Windows and Linux operating systems
AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, Cloud Formation scripts experience
Experience with orchestration and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab
Experience with virtual server technologies like VMWare, HyperV
Experience with Windows 2012 R2 and up; Linux Operating Systems (RHEL 6+)
Solid understanding of current web and internet technologies
Solid understanding and experience with branching and code repositories
The ability to independently research solutions to technical issues
The ability to document technical solutions

Day to Day:
Client is looking for an Infrastructure Software Engineer with a passion for infrastructure as code development, cloud computing automation, and partnering with application developers to empower agile sprint team deploys. The Infrastructure Software Engineer will work closely with our software development teams to ensure sprint teams have the infrastructure and deployment processes needed to ship code with ease.
The Infrastructure Software Engineer will be responsible for helping further the adoption of devops methodologies through the automation of the building, deployment, and monitoring of all applications as well as supporting the software development environments leading to production.
We are looking for an engineer who is comfortable working in a 24/7 production environment. The Infrastructure Software Engineer will be a member of a critical Engineering Operations team consisting of Operations Engineers, Database Administrators, and Tier 3 Engineers
Develop, maintain, troubleshoot Infrastructure as Code in a distributed software platform using tools such as Terraform, Python, Cloudformation, Ansible, SALT
Assist in designing, provisioning, maintaining, and scaling custom solutions as a critical member of engineering sprint teams to provide deployments, monitoring, orchestration, and provisioning
Analyze and resolve problems associated with key infrastructure automation components including servers, databases, CI tools, applications, and software
Partner with operation engineers to assist with operational environment efforts and share on-call support
Be responsible for maintaining highly performant, stable, and scalable environments through automation and devops methodologies
