The Technical Project Manager position will support ITS projects. Duties include:
Plans, organizes, directs, controls and delivers moderate to complex IT Infrastructure projects
Coordinates people for projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of project
Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets
Assigns and monitors work of technical personnel, such as network engineers and systems analysts
Manages and coordinates projects priorities that requires critical thinking and complex problem solving
Leads and communicates project scope, goals and responsibilities to project team; establish clear stakeholder expectations, and requirements of varying degrees of complexity
Develops and maintains reporting procedures and monitors performance in project control activities; prepares and distributes reports related to project activities
Experience: 6+ years of Project Management experience in an IT environment; detailed knowledge of ITS hardware, with emphasis on network infrastructure; data center experience a plus.
Education: Undergraduate degree in a technical area preferred. PMP certification required.
Occasional weekend and overtime work may be required.
