The IT Project Manager (PM), will proactively identify, develop, plan, and drive short-term and long-term IT related projects. The IT PM must be able to resolve competing project priorities, adhere to the project schedule, mitigate conflicts, and report on current status and future needs. The project manager must be capable of communicating and presenting at the program and operational levels, appropriately. The IT PM must also maintain a comprehensive list of the Americas Technology Services strategic projects and initiatives along with their current status.

Responsibilities

· Maintain professional relationship with IT and Business leadership, with internal & external project teams, with other organization business units, and with DTZ colleagues

· Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, project checklists, and manage cross-discipline resources to meet deadlines and budget

· Manage to milestones, understand critical path, and effectively communicate status at all levels

· Identify issues and risks, develop mitigation plans and drive open items to closure

· Responsible for participating in continuous improvement workshops and documenting supporting policies, processes, and procedures


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 3 – 5 years of IT experience in one or more technical roles

· Minimum of 3 – 5 years of IT Project Management experience

· Demonstrated leadership with strong organization, presentation and customer service skills

· Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed planning, perform risk assessments, and successfully mitigate project risks

· Excellent oral & written communication

· Excellent presentation skills

Required Skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

· Portfolio management experience

· In depth knowledge of project management principles

· Excellent facilitation skills and ability to manage business related discussion, influence key stakeholders, and drive groups towards decisions

· Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

· Ability to initiate and drive changes in process, methodology, and other PMO related areas

· Ability to lead and manage resources in a matrix organization that do not have a direct reporting relationship

· Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks, and maintain focus

· Proficient in using MS Project and other project management tools

· Knowledge of general MS office computer software

Education/Certification

· 3 - 5 years of experience

· BS in Computer Science

· PMP certification
