Job Description :
Senior Developer, Secure Configuration Automation
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. May require a bachelor''s degree. Requires 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field''s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Hands-on experience with the following skills:
Cloud Native Applications (AWS/Private Cloud applications)
Technology knowledge (following or similar tools)
Must have skills:
Basic Linux Experience
Development (Java)
Continuous Integration (Software Delivery Pipeline) Nice to have but not mandatory
Version Control System o Git
Python
Amazon Web Services Platform
Docker These developers will be helping teams implement automation that supports configuration hardening and leveraging secure coding practices. Security skills are not required; however, this position provides an opportunity to develop IT security skills. The position is approved for a year, but it may extend longer than that. Some of the teams needing support are in India so these developers may have to work off shift house on occasion.
