A large automotive manufacturer is hiring Infotainment Engineers
Preferred Skills and Experience
Demonstrated knowledge of In-vehicle consumer device connectivity & communications, connected vehicle services and infotainment/telematics systems engineering & related communication protocols
Knowledge and experiences with the Android platform, especially the Android framework and architecture.
Working knowledge of Android SDK (NDK a plus)
Working experience with at least one: ActionScript, Qt, or HTML5 in resource constrained system.
Experience with Speech Recognition, Text-To-Speech (TTS), Natural Language Understanding, Speech Dialog.
Working knowledge of Media playback engine, Streaming, Codec/OMX, Media Capturing, Audio framework etc.
5+ years’ experience working with current automotive infotainment systems including Navigation, GPS, Bluetooth, USB, Speech Recognition, Microphones, Hands-free Processing and Audio Management, Displays and HMI, Camera and Video Management, AM/FM/XM Receivers/Tuners, Internet Apps, incl. Internet Radio, Cyber Security, Media Players, Text to Speech, System and Power Management, Phone, Data Carrier, and Data Downloads
Education and Training
Minimum bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree. Advanced degrees preferred
