Working with the global Database Administration team to configure support (24x7) and develop company databases with a primary focus on Informix 11.50
Knowledge of Oracle and Sybase advantageous
Good communications skills working directly with end users and developers
Database Administrator (Apollo (Informix 11.5), Sentry (Oracle 10g), PeopleSoft (Oracle 11g), FNX (Sybase 12.5/15)
Basic understanding of Rates, FX, Exchange Derivatives.
Global Overnight/Intraday Production Support
Document database to company standards.
Ensure Continuous running and maintenance of key systems.
Applications Support
Ensure company Database Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) are met.
Take Part in BCP exercises as required.
Participate in the implement of technical solutions to defined business problems using approved technology and tools.
Participate in the design and specification of requirements for business applications.
Other duties as assigned.
Primary Technical
Informix Database Administrator (11.5), including High Data Availability and Remote Secondary Server; SQL; SPL, Configure, Tune and Monitor.
Unix (Solaris);
Unix Scripting KSH;
Programming:
Java Programming (Servlets)
Secondary Technical:
Oracle (10g, 11g, 12c) and Sybase (12.5/15) Database Administrator, Microsoft Excel;
Web Report Development,
IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler
