Position: Information Technology - Sr Application Developer
Duration: 6 month contract - manager wants option to hire (No H1''s)
Location: Omaha (Preferred) or Coral Springs
Job Title: Java Developer (Tech lead / Sr Developer)
Consults with project teams and functional units on the design of important projects or services. Consults with users, to determine software or system functional specifications. Designs and develops computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on user defined requirements. Writes code, programs, tests, and analyzes new application software. Advise IT management about IT issues within the Company. Supports existing business systems applications. Performs additional job duties as required.
Works on moderate to complex projects and issues within functional area.
Works more independently with IT functional units and business units. Recommends strategies for improving system applications.
Requirements
7+ years of experience with: Java Development (Java/J2ee), Java Analysis, Java Design, REST
JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, node.js, Cassandra
Unix/Linux
Experience from a commercial / enterprise environment
Stable work history
Bachelor’s Degree at College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience.
