Job Description :
This position is primarily responsible for gathering and understanding project requirements from the Lines of Business (LOB) and providing technical resources with those detailed requirements. The incumbent will manage those requirements, working closely with technical resources to ensure their understanding and to deliver the project as expected to the LOB. The incumbent will bridge the gap between the LOB and the technical team to provide concise project definition in order to limit rework, define clear specifications and ensure a successful implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:
Understands and applies business process management skills and business requirements to the needs of LOB units and corporate affiliates and translates them into specific software specifications. Meets regularly with the business units to understand, assist and make recommendations related to their need for technology.
Effectively acts as the interface between LOB units, technology and support teams to build project specifications for system resources.
Collects, understands and defines project business requirements and translates them into functional specifications.
Works collaboratively with other technology team members to meet project requirements defined through the initial process of research and documenting with LOB.
Actively makes recommendations related to technology to LOB units with guidance by the Director of Application Solutions 2 on solutions that will enable the LOB to achieve their objective.
Participates in general project estimations.
Effectively communicates with internal teams to deliver functional project requirements.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
