Quantam Solutions is seeking an Information Security Engineer for the Commonwealth Office of Technology (COT) within the Kentucky State Government is responsible for securing 30,000+ endpoints by deploying and managing enterprise security solutions. Information Security Lead Engineer (ISLE) will be a part of our Endpoint Security Team, working to deploy / maintain security tools for discovering and preventing sophisticated intrusions and eradicating advanced persistent threats. ISLE will provide full life-cycle IT Security Technology supports, including: Product Evaluation, Product Deployment, Configuration and Maintenance, and Tier 3 support for McAfee products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Information Security Lead Engineer (ISLE) will lead a team of Security engineers to assist, communicate, and oversee security product deployment and maintenance.
ISLE will provide support of McAfee server and appliance-based products, such as:
o McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO)
o McAfee Endpoint Security (ENS)
o McAfee Removable Media, File, Folder & DLP
o McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise (VSE)
o McAfee Host Intrusion Protection (HIPS)
o McAfee Security for Microsoft Exchange (MSME)
o McAfee Security for Microsoft SharePoint (MSMS)
o McAfee Email Gateway (MEG)
o McAfee Drive Encryption (DE)
o McAfee Threat Intelligence Exchange & Data Exchange Layer (TIE & DXL)
o McAfee Advanced Threat Defense (ATD)
The ISLE provides support for integration of McAfee server services to laptops and/or desktops.
The ISLE develops technical documentation including, but not limited to:
o Stakeholder requirements documentation
o System architecture diagrams
o Test plans
o Installation/Deployment Procedures
o Deployment schedules
o System performance analysis
The ISLE navigates client change control processes with effective written and verbal communication skills.
The ISLE coordinates with other intersecting work units, assist user community, communicate with vendors, and adapt to a technically challenging environment.

Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
Must have at least 10 years of experience in Information Security.
Minimum of three (5) years of experience in McAfee product administration/engineering.
3 - 5 years of experience supporting Windows desktop & server operating systems in a secure operating environment.
Interact effectively with stakeholders and quickly adapt to changing requirements.
Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and deliverable quality.
on call support as needed and other duties as assigned by management.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other IT Security certification.
McAfee ePO training or other McAfee product training.
