Our client, a public research university offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a wide range of disciplines, seeks an accomplished Information Security Analyst.
* 6 – 9 months w/ possibility of extension *
Description:
Responsible for participating the design, development and implementation of Information Security programs and services that support a broad array of technologies including high performance, distributed, network and web computing environments that supports academic, research and administrative functions.
Provide technical expertise in the analysis, development, implementation, coordination of, and compliance with, information security initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal, state and client regulations.
Participate in incident response activities including penetration testing, forensic analysis, remediation and root-cause analysis to prevent future incidents; provide recommendations regarding technical and functional solutions based upon incident analysis.
Deliver information security services including needs assessment, solution development, and training to establish secure networks, infrastructure, applications, databases and end-user computing capabilities and disaster recovery planning.
Additional responsibilities may include systems engineering and administration, vendor/software evaluation, research and proposal development.
Desired Qualifications:
Web Application Firewalls (WAF), ideally CloudFlare.
RiskIQ, Internet inventory management solution (nice to have
Web Application Scanning and penetration testing, ideally using WhiteHat, Qualys, and Appscan.
Experience with OWASP top 10.
Privileged Access management (CyberArk preferred
Next Generation Endpoint Protection (SentinelOne or Sophos InterceptX preferred
Encryption technologies (whole disk, removable media, fileshare, email
Linux/Unix, Windows, macOS.
