Job Description:
The Forensics and Insider Risk Services (FIRST) team provides the following products & services to the enterprise: Internal Investigations, eDiscovery, Stolen Equipment Risk Assessments, IRSM Investigations, Data Recoveries, Divestitures, Monitoring. We are currently searching for an experienced IT Business Analyst with experience in Forensics. The position report to the FIRST PMO/Business Planner and works alongside the project manager to deliver top quality IT projects. The Business Analyst also have Communications responsibilities and work in conjunction with Information Risk Services Management to assist with overall global strategy and supporting project deployment. The positions require self-starters with solid business analyst abilities, technical aptitude to test O365 applications, and excellent documentation skills. The candidates should have the ability to work from a high to low level of detail and have a strong mix of analytical, technical, and communication skills. Working knowledge of data privacy, information protection and technical background highly desired. Additionally, knowledge of data forensics, insider risk, cloud computing, or cybersecurity is a plus.
Gather business requirements for eDiscovery testing of O365 applications and Workplace
Develop use cases and test cases
Test cloud collection from applications and report/troubleshoot issues
Determine eDiscovery strategies for various data sources
Document collection methods for investigator training
Set up meetings with business to review requirements and test cases and solicit feedback
Facilitate team and client meetings effectively, hold regular status meetings with project team.
Act as a liaison between business partners, technical analysts, forensic investigators, detection analysts, and third-party vendors.
Deliver documentation to support internal forensics priorities and projects including capture, respond, and mitigate events.
Create and maintain standards, processes, protocols and compliance activities.
Position is part of a team focused on ensuring the security and integrity of Chevron proprietary information.
-Provide communications support and enable the distribution of key internal messages using a variety of channels.
-Creates and executes communications plans as well as tactical plans for key partnerships and issues.
- Maintenance of external stakeholder presentations.
- Design and deliver an effective strategy for Chevron and its key projects.
- Provide strategic advice to internal customers
- -Work collaboratively to leverage and communicate all aspects of Chevron''s community program to internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Business Analyst supporting a corporate enterprise with 8-10+ years of experience.
At least 5 years’ experience with Forensics, MS Office 365 productivity tools
Strong business analyst skills.
Hands- on experience with forensics tools S&CC or Encase a plus
Data collection from Facebook Workplace, RMS encryption background a plus
Proven practice of PPM or CPDEP methodology.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities to influence others without direct supervision.
Comfortable facilitating meetings and presenting to groups.
Education/Experience Requirements:
College degree in Management Information Systems, Information Security or equivalent work experience required
Enterprise/Corporate environment experience required
Local candidates strongly preferred
