Informatica version 9.1 and up (would be great if they had 10 but not required)
Lots of data experience. The space that he needs this for is going to require a fairly seasoned person who has worked with data quite extensively. Will need to quickly ramp up into a very complex information
warehouse with a lot of moving parts. (Prefers Sr. but will consider mid depending on what they''ve done
Ability to be able to learn quickly. Has to be able to jump in and work with the lead developer who is very seasoned.
Financial data experience would be a *nice to have*
Be able to work in Informatica, modify SQL, nothing extraordinary, all pretty standard.
Culture fit is important; good people skills.
Data Warehouse Developer
Develop integrations between Janus internal systems and to external data vendors. Develop job schedules using Autosys to meet daily SLAs for the enterprise data warehouse and centralized security master applications. The ideal candidate has strong software development skills and can pick up new technologies and assist in all aspects of the team''s work such as development using data warehouse and master data vendor platform tools. Willingness to work across multiple teams in an open and collaborate way to solve business problems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop Informatica interfaces
Develop Autosys schedules
Develop SQL and PL/SQL for Informatica jobs
Perform unit and integration tests, as well as support UAT testing
Provide estimates, work independently and meet deadlines
Update ERDs and other documentation as needed
Manage the releases and the related builds in each environment
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
8 years+ in information technology and/or application development
5 years+ Informatica development, experience with version 10 preferred
Must have experience with Oracle 11g, ER Studio, JIRA SQL Developer/Toad, and SVN (or other version control)
Experience with architecture principles and design best practices
Must have experience with data modeling in an Enterprise Data warehouse and data marts
Autosys or comparable job scheduler
Comfortable working directly with business partners at all levels of the organization
Experience designing and implementing information solutions
Extensive knowledge of star schema data warehousing concepts and methodologies
Experience translating complex functional requirements into technical solutions
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in asset management data
Experience developing Perl and unix shell scripts to supplement Informatica as needed
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Putty preferred
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience is required.
