Job Description :
Possess experience in supporting Healthcare based applications such as Claims, Eligibility etc.
Possess experience in service management tools such as HPSM
Possess experience in streamlining and improving existing support processes thereby improving incidents’ turnaround time
Possess excellent problem solving and analysis skills
Be able to analyze and understand technical designs based on user requirements and documentation.
Work with onshore/offshore Production Support(PS) Team to analyze, develop and improve the ETL nightly schedules as well as produce accurate defect free code for multiple projects.
Independently review technical design documents including data mappings to debug production issues.
Coordinate with offshore PS Team to improve the applications to run efficiently within the nightly schedule window and meets the business requirements.
Create and update technical documentation using high level technical specification documents
Participate in the formal application transitions and reviews of modifications to improve nightly schedule performance.
Be able to coordinate and work with multiple development teams, outside vendors and other support areas for making improvements in the nightly schedules or correcting bugs.
Assists / oversees production implementation according to the defined release schedules and maintenance of the production, QA and test environments
Develop performance tuning on UNIX ETL and Oracle database environments.
Participate in Production Support transition meetings.
Provide input in creating detailed ETL development estimates or change requests
Other responsibilities include enhancement, performance tuning, support of the existing applications, project coordination and prioritization.
