Job Title: Informatica MDM Implementation Specialist
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 6 months CTH

Client is seeking a Informatica MDM Implementation Specialist to join our team supporting the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This team develops and maintains Business Intelligence systems including data warehouse, reporting, analytics, search, and master data management systems. The qualified candidate will develop, enhance, and maintain a sophisticated MDM implementation using Informatica MDM V 10 and Informatica Data Director.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand and translate business, data, and technical requirements to configure and utilize Informatica MDM and IDQ capabilities to support data quality and data standardization needs
Support impact analysis of user requested changes/requirements to support the development of level of effort estimates to implement changes
Use appropriate development tools and methodologies to design, develop, enhance, and maintain Informatica MDM-based implementation
Conduct unit test cases and document test results; support the test team in performance/load testing

Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
8 years’ total experience
2+ years of implementation experience with Informatica MDM v 10 and Informatica Data Director
2+ years of experience with batch data processing of bulk data
2+ years of experience with MDM match rules tuning
1+ years of experience with using user exits
3+ years of experience with software engineering in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
BA or BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field
Good oral and written communication skill
Candidates must meet the FDA US residency requirement of having resided in the United States for at minimum 3 of the prior 5 years

Experience with Shell, PL/SQL, or SQL scripting
Ability to participate in peer reviews, and reviews of SDLC products/artifacts
Ability to self-manage timelines and self-review work products in a large development team environment
