Job Description:
As a Data Developer, the position requires strong knowledge of Data Modeling, ETL, Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL, Informatica,PowerCenter, and Informatica Data Integration Hub. The position requires an ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to manage projects against established timelines. This position also requires the ability to learn and apply new technology, work independently or in a team environment, and collaborate with all levels of staff within DFPS to satisfy business needs.
The Workers will be responsible for the modernization of existing DFPS data architecture following established standards, quality attributes, and design specifications. These Data Developer roles are responsible for the following:
Defining and developing datastrategies for flexibility and scalability
Defining future technical data architectural standards
Documenting design and standards
Version control
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The candidates must have a strong technical background with progressive experience in database concepts, data management and data warehousing.
Minimum (Required):
Years Skills/Experience
4 Experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
4 Working knowledge of data warehouse end-to-end implementation processes, from business requirement logical modeling, physical database design, ETL, end-user tools, database, SQL, performance tuning
4 Working knowledge of data warehouse Metadata concepts, tools and different data warehouse methodologies
3 Experience in Informatica PowerCenter
3 Experience in Informatica''s B2B product - Data Integration Hub
2 Working Knowledge of Version Control
2 Technical Documentation including Design Documents and Standards
3 Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing used when leading development activities, presenting to leadership, and training less experienced developers

3 Prefer working experience using SVN or Git for version control
