Job Description :
4 plus years of experience in Informatica Power Center Administration (preferably 9.x) and higher versions.
Strong Unix scripting skills for automation of tasks related to administrative tasks
Strong knowledge of installation, configuration and administration of Informatica
Experience working with Linux environment.
Must have experience in upgrading the Informatica from lower versions to higher versions especially from 9.x to 10x.
Should have expertise in migrating repositories and Domain from lower environment to higher environment of Informatica.
Must have experience in migrating the Informatica along with Oracle database upgrade ( From 11g to 12c) and
should know the sequence of steps to be followed during the upgrade.
Must have knowledge on Impact of upgrading the Informatica and further testing post upgrade.
Must have experience in DAC administration and should know the sequence of steps to upgrade DAC (from v10 to v11)
along with Informatica upgrade as Informatica workflows are scheduled in DAC.
Should prepare a proper Migration checklist so that the upgrades can be easily done in higher environments.
Should have knowledge on compatibility of Informatica and DAC versions with Oracle database versions.
