Job Title: EDI Developer
Duration: 6 months minimum
Location: Winston-Salem NC
Interview Mode: Phone and F2F
EDI resource to develop, improve, automate, and consolidate multiple EDI transactions and maps.
Work with TrustedLink System (TLi) for the IBM System i platforms.
EDI resource will be given a large ownership piece of the EDI landscape and make recommendations on best practices and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert technical support on all aspects of the EDI process and oversee the setup and maintenance of data connections and mapping with our partners
The creation/maintenance of connection and translations, testing and implementation of new data interchanges, and ongoing daily operational support
Collaborates with IT Team and business partners to provide EDI subject matter expertise on data models and associated systems and technology
Establish best practices and procedures for EDI
Involvement in process improvements
Map consolidation and rationalization
Root cause analysis and counter measure activity
Build strong partnerships with internal business teams
Develop project plans and delivery timelines related EDI activities and formal projects/enhancements
Experience:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
EDI/IT experience working directly with trading partners and internal business teams
Experience with sales orders, purchase orders, invoicing and warehouse management
JD Edwards and PKMS Warehouse Management experience is a plus
