Job Description :
Java/J2EE Developer
We are seeking a strong J2EE Programmer to work within the Enterprise Common Services team within Mercury.
Candidates will be responsible for supporting existing J2EE applications as well as contributing to enhancements or new development as required.
Candidates will also support Mercury processes including Continuous Integration deployments and strategies.
Qualified resources must possess strong working knowledge in the required technologies (see below) as well as experience working in highly integrated environments.
Job Requirements
o Experience working with J2EE technologies and Web Services (JDBC, JAX-RS, JAXB, JMX)
o Experience working with Spring Frameworks (Core Spring, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot)
o Experience with Open Source Frameworks such as Struts, Jersey, CXF, Netflix APIs
o Experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as DB2, SQL Server or Cassandra
o Proficient in both SOAP and REST based Web Services Technologies
o Proficient with Continuous Integration tools/processes including Jenkins and Test Driven Development
o Familiarity working with Monitoring tools (Splunk, App Dynamics)
