Job Description:
Position: Business Systems Analyst with MicroStrategy
Location: Brea CA 92821
Duration: Open ended Contract
Qualifications required the position
1. Experience interpreting and writing Functional Requirements and Data Mapping documents
2. 3+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Warehouses
3. Solid understanding dimensional Data Modeling (usage of Snowflake and Star schemas)
4. Experience interacting with customers to gather requirements
5. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
6. Able to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
7. Experience in collaborating with Development and QA teams
8. Thorough knowledge of reporting tools (MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Tableau)
9. Intermediate/advanced SQL skills in one or more relational databases
10. Knowledge of various ETL and Data Integration processes
11. Prior professional experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance Industry with a focus on the following is HIGHLY PREFERRED:
1. Policy rating process
2. Policy Underwriting process
