Position: Oracle Cloud Project Manager with Public Sector Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our partners are seeking a highly motivated Oracle Cloud Project Manager for a long term engagement with our client in.

The Ideal Professional:
The ideal Oracle Cloud Project Manager will have no less than 10 years of experience managing Oracle ERP Implementations, out of which at least 2 years of Oracle Cloud Implementations.
We’d love if the professional has at least 5 years of experience with public sector implementations.
Someone with a background in consulting, preferably Big 4, who has led large and complex implementations successfully.
A professional whom possesses in-depth knowledge of methodologies, templates and project oversight.

Oracle ERP - EBS / Cloud Skills:
Experience in Financials
Experience in HCM
Experience with Oracle cloud management
PL/SQL

Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, lead and monitor the activities of the client project team.
Monitor and supervise client project implementation team.
Provide guidance and mentoring to client resources assigned to the project.
Review and refine project plans and schedule resources.
Provide project risk analysis and mitigation planning.
Maintain overall control of the schedule, budget and scope.
Ensure that project plans and work products are based on approved and agreed upon requirements.

Review and approve client project team implementation deliverables (Project Plan, Risk Plan, Communication Plan, etc use deliverables to conduct the project.
Escalate issues and submit recommendations to client steering committee team / sponsors to resolve them.
Act as a trusted advisor and maintain regular contact with the sponsors, steering committee, providing status of project progress and advice with respect to best practices.
Perform weekly status calls.

Track the status of deliverables and any decisions made regarding Project Change Requests and outstanding issues.
Update appropriate documentation and project plan to reflect changes in requirements and commitments.
Project Approvals for project tasks and activities.
Champion and adhere to the Best Practice Process.
