Job Description
Client Need PMP certified candidate with a finance and accounting background to help them centralized these accounting functions from the individual
Must have
AP/AR group (Memphis)
GL/Revenue group (Memphis)
Payroll/Tax group (McLean, VA)
Position Summary
- Coordinates actions that deliver against the project plan to achieve key milestones and deliverables
- Tracks, updates and communicates project status in a proactive manner as it relates to project progress, issues and risks
- Maintains project plan
- Facilitates project meetings with stakeholders
- Interfaces with project stakeholders to ensure project priorities are aligned with business needs and expectations
- Ensures that appropriate project documentation and deliverables are clearly defined and delivered
- Collaborates with manager to establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish project goals
- Demonstrates competence to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks to completion
Required Qualification:
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (including Project and Visio) and SharePoint
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- Work attitude that exhibits flexibility, drive, good judgment and dependability
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and decision making skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
