WINDOWS / LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Job description:
- 10+ years’ experience and proficiency in managing and administering Windows and Linux environment; familiarity with Debian and Ubuntu a plus
- Provide primary system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux environments
- Perform security remediation for all servers in accordance to company security standards. IBM Security remediation experience with ITCS104/ITSS is plus - Monitor and troubleshoot systems and processes and take proactive action, including determining a root cause from monitoring and metrics data, and system logs
- Provisioning of new Windows and Linux servers
- Experience with implementing security protocols in Windows and Linux environment
- Proficient in Bash, Ruby, or Python
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and protocols, including DNS, SMTP, HTTP, TFTP, SSH, IPSec, Samba, NFS, NTP, FTP, SFTP, TELNET, KERBEROS, SNMP, and SSL/TLS
- Ability to work independently to get the job done with little or no assistance, including working with a remote team
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, while maintaining a strong commitment to quality of work
- Ability to communicate complex technical problems concisely and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences
CISSP or similar certification highly desirable
70% Windows / 30% Linux
Candidate must be willing to work on site in RTP.
