Immediate: Data Modeling/ ETL Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 Plus Months
MOI: Phone + Skype

Responsibilities:
Monitor overall projects, including scoping, tracking progress and documentation
Translates business rules into technical specifications
Perform Unit Testing and assist Enterprise Quality Assurance and User Acceptance testing teams
Designing innovative system solutions and software development techniques
Provide testing and production support as necessary
Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements and design
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years'' experience in application development and system analysis.
Experience with Python and Spark a must.
AWS Experience.
Experience with database technologies SQL Server, PostgreSQL
Demonstrated capabilities in the following disciplines:
o Data Quality and Profiling
o ETL
o Data Architecture and Data Modeling
Experience with load strategy and data validation for large databases
Database performance tuning experience
Very strong UNIX skills and SQL experience
Extensive source system analysis and data profiling experience
Good SQL writing capabilities
Demonstrated experience and expertise in the Software Implementation Lifecycle (SILC) including collection of requirements, documentation of specifications, application design, implementation and support.
Demonstrated advanced technical and analytical skills.
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Degree in a technical discipline OR equivalent work history.
Extensive ETL development expertise. Experience with Python, Spark, Glue, DataStage
Experience in the Software Implementation Lifecycle (SILC) including collection of requirements, documentation of specifications (controls and outputs, workflows, logical processes), and overseeing application design and implementation.
Experience with Agile development.
Preferred Skills:
Preferred experience with enterprise scheduling tool like Autosys
