Job Description:
Client need previous banking experience and ideally someone that has done database integration and looking at various tables/columns and see how they match up. Strong SQL as well
Must-have
3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Experience developing solutions using Apache Spark, Databricks, and Alteryx
Experience programming with python and/or Scala
Experience with developing cloud solutions using AWS or Azure
Excellent communication skills
Plusses
Experience using OSI Softpi system
Experience with Computer Vision for putting the algorithms into production
Experience with Hadoop based big data frameworks

An employer is looking for a Data Engineer in Houston, TX. This person will sit on a team of other data engineers and data scientists in the Advanced Analytics Center of Expertise within the Digitalization organization. This person will be responsible for developing the data pipelines and the entire infrastructure that will host these algorithms into production. This person will work in Apache Spark using Databricks and Altreyx on customer facing projects revolving around marketing, recommendation engines, customer spend data, etc.
