Role Name: Identity Management Engineer
Role Description: Responsible for administering (and assisting with the engineering/implementation of) new or enhanced identity or security services; responsible for assisting with production support of existing identity or security infrastructure/services.
Job Description:
1. A technical engineer/developer role within the Information Security Services Team.
2. Engineer, configure, customize, test, implement, support and enhance vendor security infrastructure solutions such as Microsoft Identity Identity Manager 2016, Active Directory Federation Services 2012 R2, and cloud IDaaS solutions.
3. Assist with the implementation of IAM solutions that align with NRECA’s strategic Cloud, Mobile, and Social adoption initiatives.
4. Develop, test, implement, support and enhance NRECA’s growing “suite” of custom Enterprise Security APIs such as IdentityProvider, Identification, RoleProvider, and Auditing.
5. Perform regular administration of infrastructure systems (e.g., MIM & AD FS) and handle manual data discrepancy resolution processes.
Critical Qualifications:
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Security or related technical field is required.
7+ total years of relevant experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
6+ total years of relevant experience in software applications development.
4+ years experience with configuring, administering, and customizing Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM
4+ years’ experience with building Microsoft .NET applications using Visual Studio (C# and Web services & API development
4+ years’ experience with relational database management system (RDBMS) design and development using Microsoft SQL Server or other comparable RDBMS.
3+ years experience with configuring and administering Microsoft AD FS, CA SSO Web Access Manager (WAM), or comparable Web Access Management solution.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of authentication, authorization, or identity management standards/protocols such as Kerberos/NTLM, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, WS-Federation, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
