Required skills/experience:
7+ Years of IT project management experience.
4+ Years of experience managing large IT infrastructure projects.
2+ Years managing either M&A projects or large migrations.
Strong technology background (mainly infrastructure)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage detailed tasks efficiently and effectively.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Ability to work after normal business hours and on weekends occasionally.
Packaged Software experience: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
College degree and/or PMP certification.
A Project Manager contractor is required to project manage several key IT Infrastructure projects in 2017-2018, including divestiture work. The PM needs to have at least a good conceptual understanding of a broad range of infrastructure technologies. This is a senior level IT infrastructure project manager based out of CIT''s headquarters in Livingston, NJ. The PM will report into the Director of Engagement Management for the duration of this engagement. The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Overall project ownership for the specific infrastructure projects.
Responsible for the project plan creation and any subsequent changes.
Will work with other PMs as required to achieve the desired program goals.
Will coordinate the activities of SMEs, and do follow-ups as required.
Conduct project meetings, record meeting minutes and action items, and follow-up on action items.
Adhere to all of CIT''s project management standards and EPMO policies as required.
Submit project purchases and track actual project costs vs. budget.
Prepare monthly project flash reports and weekly status reports.
Create or edit technical project documentation as required.
