Job Description :
Experience with Application Support. Perform unit testing, integration testing, facilitate user testing and approvals.
Troubleshoot any technical issues from a high to low level (Active Directory down to the PC/Laptop Onsite analysis, diagnosis and resolution of such problems.
Collaborate with existing vendors to evaluate new technology that is available and make recommendations to management on using/updating that technology.
Monitor the performance of the company''s desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency.
Scheduling and coordinating all project/upgrade work with the user community. Involves communication and at times user participation with testing.
Provides technical support as required to staff.
Develop trends by monitoring/analysing support requests.
Ensuring compliance with existing data security procedures, particularly when it comes to data retention policies.
Reviewing business requests for new applications and ensuring adherence of current programs to data security policies.
Utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to coordinate secure solutions to meet company requirements.
As required assist/manage Data Center vendor.
Manages testing and image updates at the DR (Disaster Recovery) SunGard site.
Participate with the Global Support, Network, Messaging, and Infrastructure teams in regard to new projects and initiatives in North America.
Liaises with all teams for implementation, upgrades, new products and maintenance.
Intuitive and analytical, assessing complex enterprise-wide system problems and developing strategies for quick resolution.
Project planning, execution, monitoring and resource balancing skills with ability to support multiple simultaneous projects.
Provides training for internal staff as necessary.
As required project manages IT component of office moves, new buildouts and system upgrades.
Ad-hoc project work - short duration project work, may be initiated by a user or as an internal project.

Qualifications:
College Degree preferably in a technical field.
7 years of prior relevant experience in corporate environment.
Strong Technical skills.
Strong computer aptitude with knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint - and ability to learn new technology as needed.
Ability to Project Manage and utilize Microsoft Project.
Good understanding of Networks and ability to troubleshoot.
Ability to make minor repairs.
Strong Project Management Skills.
Experience in vendor management, preferably outsourcing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Dependable and detail-oriented.
Strong service-orientation and organizational skills.
Self-starter and resourceful team player.
Ability to work well under pressure.
