Job Title : IT Systems Engineer
Location : Everett, WA
Job Responsibilities
Design, implement, configure and maintain the company’s servers and network infrastructure.
Monitor current systems and maintain availability/operativity of resources.
Perform vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
Remediate security vulnerabilities.
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
Ensure local and cloud data safety.
Recommend and implement solutions that automate IT manual activities.
Provide technical direction to other IT staff and management.
Write and execute Power Shell scripts as needed.
Maintain documentation of Network (i.e., hardware, service agreements, licenses, configurations, programs, users, etc.
Document user and IT staff policies and procedures.
Live by and train on IT best practices.
Required Skills
Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and have good interpersonal skills.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in systems in highly regulated industries or companies
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks, both hardware and software.
Exceptional networking skills and knowledge (Cisco and Avaya preferred
Experience with cloud environments (Azure preferred
Education/Experience
At least five years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering preferred.
Experience designing, implementing and managing systems, networks and cloud infrastructures
Strong systems security focus.
Certificates and Licenses
Must have ISC2 CISSP or CompTIA CASP certification or equivalent
