Engagement description:
Enterprise Information Security Governance is responsible for maintaining the policies and standards aligned with the security framework, developing security training and awareness programs and providing the training, developing processes and procedures for the department and rolling out security communications to the workforce.
The primary objectives for the Security Specialist II positions are to develop and provide training and awareness programs and update information security policies and standards.
Top 3 required skills/experience:
- Experience developing security awareness training programs and delivering security awareness messages and training to targeted workforce audiences on-site, online and in digital formats
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Social Engineering tools (example: phishing and vishing)
- Knowledge of information security-related regulations, frameworks, industry standards and best practices (i.e. HITRUST, HITECH, NIST, HIPAA, ISO, etc and experience developing policies aligned with frameworks.
Required skills/experience:
- Experience proposing improvements and assisting in the implementation of enterprise-wide security policies, procedures and standards to meet compliance responsibilities.
- Ability to translate/simplify technical information for non-technical users.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable making presentations to groups of people
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred skills/experience:
- Knowledge of any GRC tool
Education/certifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in related field preferred.
- 7 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, systems administration and 5 years experience designing and deploying security solutions at the enterprise level required.
- In-depth knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms required.
- A high proficiency level in specific job-related skills is required.
- Security Certification(s) (i.e., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manage (CISM) required
