Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Security Consultant with expertise is performing security audit/assessment work, as we are undergoing a HITRUST and SSAE 18 SOC 2 self-assessment in preparation for future certifications. The consultant will help perform related assessment activities utilizing a tool, and working with Technology and Business staff on completing the assessments and evidence collection.
Qualifications
· Minimum of five (5) years-experience IT security auditing and or assessment
· Experience performing HITRUST and or SOC2 certification assessments, preferred
· Desired knowledge of the HIPAA Security and Privacy Rules, HITRUST CSF, NYDFS Cyber
security Regulation 500, PCI-DSS, and other security and privacy regimes.
· Certifications desired: CISSP, CISA, Certified CSF Practitioner
· Working knowledge of IT control processes in cloud environments
· Experience preparing presentations covering audit reports and communications on
assessment results to staff, including executives and technical professionals
· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Management Information Systems,
Computer Science. or a related field
