IT Security Administrator
Duration: Contract to hire

Pay Rate:: $40.59/Hour on W2 all-inclusive

JOB SUMMARY:
This position will establish, administer and manage an information security program, systems, policies and procedures and advise senior management regarding risks to the Town due to implementation of technology used to operate the Town.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
* Establish, administer and manage an information security program including cybersecurity policies and procedures, advising senior management regarding cyber risks, security awareness program, access control program, security audit program (AD Users, network testing, vulnerability scans, etc, disaster recovery planning, business continuity planning, physical security as it pertains to protecting information systems.
* Project manager for cybersecurity projects and is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating resources and completing project tasks.
* Thorough knowledge of all technology systems and organizational lines of service.
* Researches and understands regulatory standards for the organization. Participates in regional events and professional communities to maximize value of partnerships when developing an effective cybersecurity program.
* Responds to cybersecurity incidents when reported, completes investigation, and takes follow up actions as needed. Prepared to manage a full scale cyber security crisis.
* Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Business Information Systems. However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience.
* Five to seven years of experience working in the Information Technology industry.
* Two years of experience working in a regulatory environment.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:
* CISSP is highly desirable.
* Formal education in cybersecurity is highly desirable.

KNOWLEDGE OF:
* Information technology terminology, practices and procedures
* Network administration principles and practices
* Basic knowledge of mainstream regulatory requirements (PCI, PII, HIPAA, etc
* Basic knowledge of cybersecurity program components

SKILL IN:
* Basic project management
* Technical writing
* Leadership through influence

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, lift, finger, grasp, talk, hear and see. Will also perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers.
