IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager will manage one or more information technology projects at any given time, in support of different business units within the organization, as and when the business units identify the need for a new project that involves implementation, upgrade or migration of a software application.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Stakeholder analysis and management
Requirements analysis and management, analysis and development of AS-IS and TO-BE business process workflows and documentation (using IEEE standards)
Managing and organizing project documentation in SharePoint repository
Assembling, organizing and leading a team of business analysts, software and infrastructure specialists
Developing and maintaining project schedules (Microsoft Project)
Developing requests for information (RFIs) and evaluating fitment of software products to requirements
Vendor/Solution analysis and developing solution evaluation reports
Procurement support and vendor management
Creating and executing Project Management Plans: PMP, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Stakeholder Management, Implementation Management, Maintenance and Operations (M&O), Transition Plan
Managing System and User Acceptance Testing - planning, documentation, test scripts, reporting, managing issue resolution
Managing System Training - planning, documentation, user guides/manuals, quick reference guides, classroom facilitation
Developing Detailed SDLC Documentation/Plans (M&O, Data Migration, Training, Testing (including UAT), System Security Plan, System Design)
Conducting executive briefings regularly, providing presentation and report materials regarding the topic of concern
Detailed weekly status reporting on projects, showing progress on deliverables, milestones, resource and vendor activities/hours, and narrative.
Monthly reporting narrative on projects
Managing remote teams

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

Mandatory - Graduate (Bachelor’s) or Post Graduate (Master’s) Level Education in Information Technology or relevant discipline
Mandatory - At least 8-10 years of project management experience
Mandatory – active PMP certification by PMI or equivalent credential in Project Management
Preferable - experience with Salesforce, KCura Relativity, Website Design/Re-design, Content Management Systems, Microsoft Share Point technologies/projects.
Attention to detail; Strong research, analytical and technical skills.
Extensive knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
Extensive knowledge of large-scale website deployment projects.
Familiarity with accessibility/ADA/Section 508 standards.
Familiarity with State of California project management and change management standards.
Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects, simultaneously.
Ability to assume ownership of projects midstream and get up to speed rapidly (within 3-4 days maximum
Knowledge and application of PMP best practices and standards.
