Role: IT Project Manager III
Location: Moline, IL
Duration: Full Time


Manager is seeking an experience IT Project manager. Ideally they will have 5 plus years of IT Project Management experience. Must be well versed with Agile and have experience managing implementations. Able to gather requirements and lead projects. Must have experience with managing large projects over $1 million in spend.

Responsible for the successful delivery of larger strategic projects that are complex and/or involve sensitive topics. Utilizes and provides project management expertise to direct work assignments involving the work teams. Establishes priorities and gathers the resources necessary to staff the work team leaders. Directs the design of major components involved in the project. Coordinates strategic deployment of advanced technology to be deployed on project. Integrates and coordinates with business and Information Technology (IT) management, including senior levels. Projects meet some or all of the following criteria: 12 or more persons on the project team; more than 6 disciplines involved; multiple divisions involved on a global level, scope in dollars is greater than $5,000,000 and is determined on budget, revenue generated, savings, etc

DUTIES: Participates in the project planning process of new products/services and/or major improvements to existing products/services. Develops the project plan and leads the project team in executing that plan. Applies a solid foundation in project management and executing that plan. Applies sophisticated project management discipline and experience. Project plan developed by focusing on project definition, scope, business requirements, cost, completion dates, resource allocation, and quality/reliability. Uses sophisticated risk management, communication strategies, etc. as part of managing to the success of projects. Builds project management skills in others. Provides day to day work direction and assistance to a group of professional staff, primarily in the context of work needed against project plans. Determines resources needed to assure successful completion of project and secures resources from others (project leader/champion, process owner, division leader, etc. Assists in coaching and developing team members. Provides performance input to team members'' managers. Develops, tracks, and meets the capital and expense budget, generally at the project level. Monitors ongoing project/program status and maintains communication with business partners or stakeholders regarding the status. Nature of the projects or programs requires very significant communications focused on business partners, other stakeholders, and Information Technology (IT) management in addition to the project team itself. May need to establish new process(es) in order to deliver successful projects. Looks for process improvement and process definition opportunities, and leads others in adhering to existing processes and contributing to their improvement. Ensures project quality by adhering to standards in development, testing and, quality methodologies assuring integration with other systems. Contributes usually heavily to the technical decisions. If not, gets the right technical talent applied. Usually is also responsible for establishing the overall technical direction for projects and/or programs. This may include evaluating tools, products, and new technology on the market, making purchase recommendations when appropriate, to assure proper alignment with business requirements and IT strategy. Assists in resolution of difficult technical issues whether within the company or with outside suppliers.
