Role: IT Project Manager

Location: McLean, VA, United States

Description:

1. Perform a current state assessment. This will include a review of any recently completed or existing servicing-related process initiatives that may impact the engagement process.

Conduct discovery meetings and discussions to understand the application and actions taken when monitoring
thresholds indicate a pending servicer failure.

Interview current stakeholders & users; develop documentation into the "As-Is” Level 1 process inventory, which will
serve as the basis for gap analysis and process modeling efforts.

Document risks, dependencies, issues / current concerns and opportunities for improvement identified during the
process of understanding. These elements will be factored into the target state requirements.

2. Complete a gap analysis. This process articulates the differences between the current state and the desired target state, while also identifying areas that call for additional detail to be gathered in order to determine the best solution
considering time, budget, and scope.

Perform the gap analysis exercise to decompose the "As Is” processes and known issues into a documented inventory
of "needs” to be considered in the "To Be” model.

3. Develop the high level Future State "To Be” Target Operating Model. Critical components of the target operating model are identified and described. An understanding of leading industry practices will influence the target state.

Utilize tools and concepts to facilitate the development of the process designs and confirm that they adequately
address the Future State/ "To Be” process for responding to roles and responsibilities across a number of different
operating scenarios based on discussions, documentation, observations, requirements, and objectives of the desired
operating model.

Develop a high level roadmap and fee estimate for next Phase Implementation.

4. Develop high level project plan following Client's Project Management methodology, tailoring it based on any findings from the initial assessment of Client's PMO processes and capabilities.

Identify and leverage existing PMO practices within Client.

Assist in drafting an appropriate governance and decision-making structure and define a project charter that is
supported by a well-defined program management infrastructure.

Conduct weekly status reporting to the organization and communicate performance to project stakeholders.

Develop a Project schedule as an aggregation of all efforts contributing to the project plans, validating that project
timelines are coordinated under the Client program umbrella, and providing visibility into dependencies and potential
issues and risks.

Assist with reviewing the day-to-day operational activities needed to support the project, including monitoring the
Project schedule, coordinating the collection of artifact documents and records into the project/program repository,
identifying lessons learned and promoting reuse of knowledge.

Conduct project governance activities.

Other Skills

Minimum a certified PMP with 10-12 years of experience working on large projects with multiple workstreams.
