Required Experience:

5+ years in Project management

3+ years managing Financial Systems projects

3+ years gathering and documenting requirements

Financial Systems Specific experience:

As the Financial Systems Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial systems projects within the Corporate Services Portfolio. Prior experience includes initiating projects, gathering requirements, strong delivery management, maintaining project schedule. Partnering with Finance and Operation Leaders in the organization to ensure success.

Responsibilities of the project manager

Manages multiple projects simultaneously and independently;

Providing updates to the Sr. Program /Portfolio Manager;

Elicits and documents the business requirements;

Creates and maintains the work plans;

Identifies project risks/issues and manages mitigation plans;

Communicates project status to directly to stakeholders;

Adhere to the PMO governance (controls);

Managing the project budget;

Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;

Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies;

Managing and utilizing resources across projects;

Managing stakeholders'' communication;

Maintain the project documentation and ensure traceability with deliverables;

Strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing financial system projects end to end. He or she must have the following:

Good knowledge and handling of project management methodology and techniques;

Good understanding of the requirements and traceability through delivery

Ability to work positively with a wide range of technical and business stakeholders

Strong leadership and management skills;

Strong communication and presentation skills;

The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.

Certifications Required:

Formal project management training

Nice to Have:

Distribution Industry Experience

Product Management Experience

Education:

Bachelor''s Degree - Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration
