IT Operations Analyst
Philadelphia, PA
3 Months Contract to Hire

Requirements 
Our client is looking for the IT Operations Analyst  to create increased productivity and efficiency in their outsourcing partner network while working with the Director of IT Operations. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational integrity of the technology and services provided by the Operations group. You will work with teams of IT professionals covering multiple areas focusing on the security, stability, and performance of systems and services.  100% of IT operations is outsourced. You will not be managing a team.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong troubleshooting experience with infrastructure architectures and web-based applications in a production support capacity required.
Exceptional multi-tasking skills; ability to organize and execute on multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrate expertise working independently as well as in teams to research, test, and implement processes and tools to support new software and hardware solutions, and in successfully managing projects to completion.
Attention to detail and exemplary customer service skills are essential.
Experience managing multiple vendors and outsourced relationships.
Responsibilities:
Operations
Establish and maintain a service-oriented culture for all operational, support, and project responsibilities
Establish and maintain SLAs on all business applications
Ensure defined SLAs are met and a culture of continuous improvement is continued
Monitor server and network infrastructure for performance, security, and integrity using industry standard utilities and monitoring tool
Direct and collaborate with internal personnel and external consultants to drive and oversee IT infrastructure projects
Develop and maintain IT systems documentation and procedures
Responsible for tracking and reporting root cause analyses on all system interruptions, and developing and implementing action plans to mitigate future outages
Understanding and support of Infrastructure components, including but not limited to:
Cloud infrastructure
Citrix and VMware technologies
Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments
Enterprise disaster recovery systems
Linux and UNIX operating systems
Wireless infrastructures, including MDM

Security
Ensure compliance with all PCI, SOX, as well as other regulatory or industry standards
Assess risks and events and ensure best practices are utilized
Ensure compliance in staff education on Information Security Awareness

Management
Establish and maintain controls and adherence to policies within the organization
Participate in release management
Improve help desk through key performance indicators and set “client-first” mentality within the team
Coordinate the activities of the Server Infrastructure and Help Desk teams to resolve issues, focus efforts, identify and prioritize needs, develop project justifications, IT budgets, schedules, and resource plans
Monitor trends; research and propose new solutions which would benefit the company
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or related discipline
4+ years IT management experience (preferably in a retail/banking environment)
Experience with ITGC and PCI compliance
Previous experience with WAN and LAN technologies, server, storage and network hardware, and in multi-platform network environment (Windows/UNIX/Linux clients and servers)
Broad understanding of information systems technology and a solid understanding of the application of various technologies to business operations and system life cycles
