IT Licensing Sales Support Associate

Location: San Jose CA

Duration: 3 6 CTH

Conversion 60-70K (have to be okay with this rate not super senior
resource)

Responsibilities:
Interact with customers, primarily via phone, to assess their
immediate licensing needs and gather the information needed to quote
accordingly
Create sales orders in order management system, following
guidelines for specific parameters related to customer type and purchasing
program
Enter data in order management system, online tools and spreadsheets
Accurately quote customer pricing based on proration schedules that
vary by licensing program and customer agreements
Understand and communicate licensing concepts to customers
Understand and articulate various licensing methods
Leverage online training to keep licensing knowledge current
Advocacy for customer centric solution with vendors
Facilitate customer support tickets with vendors
Organize and analyze sales data via Excel tools e.g., filters,
formulas, pivot tables.
Generate sales reporting for management and partners
Anticipate potential barriers to achievement of goals and propose
responsible solutions for success
Ideal Qualifications:
Education BA/BS
Experience with software licensing programs
Experience interpreting software licensing terms and conditions
Experience with higher education accounts and programs
Proficient in the development of processes and project management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with full suite of Microsoft Office products, especially
Excel
Excellent customer service phone skills
Attention to detail; highly organized
Good problem solver and troubleshooter
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
