Title: IT Engineer II
Location: Southfield, Michigan
Duration: 7 months -CTH
Engagement Description:
Responsible for planning, developing, testing and implementing IT system solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity as well as support business strategies and goals. Also responsible for executing the strategy set by architecture; For designing, building, testing, implementing, maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure and operations (I&O), in accordance with security policies and guidelines. IT Engineering typically spans: server platforms, middleware infrastructure, networking, client technology and storage systems. Develops/builds complex systems that may have system-wide impact and integrates across the organization. Supports one or more highly complex or critical business processes/systems and may require design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience (5-10 years), they have to be experts in:
Windows System Administration (2016, 2012 R2)
Active Directory Domain Administration & Troubleshooting (AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, CA)
Scripting (PowerShell preferred)
Required Skills/Experience (3-5 years):
Strong working experience in a complex multi-network environments
Strong working experience in stressful, face-paced multi-forest Active Directory environments
Strong working experience supporting SaaS environments & customers
Working knowledge of ITIL & work with ITIL processes
Experience with various Windows tools & utilities such as PStools, monitoring software, & ITSM software
Security vulnerability remediation experience
DNS administration
Cluster / HA administration
VMware Administration using vCenter, P2V, templates & snapshots
SCCM Administration
Azure Administration
IIS Web/App Administration
Preferred Skills/Experience (1-2 year):
O365 & Exchange Administration
AD FS / AD LDS administration
Server backup & restore process & administration
Disaster recovery experience
