Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.



Job Summary :

We are looking for someone with extensive background in Enterprise Content Management system design and implementation, with an emphasis on document capture and records management.
The right person for this position has the ability to estimate effort and resources necessary to convert documents and ingest in a records management/document repository.


Responsibilities:

Working with the company personnel and the Strategy Master to identify and review documents in multiple locations in an around the Norfolk
Identify the documents & methodology for conversion into an electronic document repository. The documents will be located, reviewed and classified as necessary to estimate the scale of the conversion effort to scan the documents into a repository.
Convert documents and ingest in a records management/document repository.

The data collected might include information such as
o Recommended metadata for each of the document families
o Size of documents
o Quantity and quality of documents
o Location of documents
o Color anomalies
o Type of documents (contract, etc
o Media (paper, microfilm, etc
o Classification (classified/non-classified)
o PII Information

Requirements:
Candidates must have all required skills/experience to be considered.
Candidates must be US Citizen.
CompTIA Security + (minimum DoD 8570 certification) .
Secret Security Clearance .
5 years Specialty area experience .
5 years to 10 years Industry experience .
Education - Bachelor''s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience .



Estimated initial contract period : 6 months
