Job Overview:

This position installs configures and maintains computing infrastructure, operating systems and/or middleware products on all computer platforms, including mainframes, workstations and serversincluding web servers, in support of 24 hours per day, seven days per week business processes.

Demonstrable ITIL experience with 2 years in Incident and Change Management and 1 year in Configuration management
Demonstrable experience with 4 years as a BA participating in project delivering infrastructure, middleware, COTs, upgrades, etc.
Demonstrable Agile experiences with at least 1 year as a team member
Demonstrable knowledge of hardware, middleware, software, upgrades, sunsets, transitions, disaster recovery from a BA perspective

Desired:

Understanding metering telemetry and operations
Understanding of networking and telecommunication concepts
Experience with SQL Queries

·Communicate with business managers, Engineering and Construction, plant personnel and 3rd party entities.
·Discuss development and enhancement progress of new installations with stakeholders.
·Review logs and system activity to ensure proper data gathering of meter data.
·Able to communicate throughout all levels of the organization.
·Able to meet attendance and storm duty requirements.
·Able to work extended hours.

Description of Role/Responsibilities:

Evaluates, implements and modifies operating system software parameters and/or product solutions for optimum performance
Identifies integration and other interface requirements for all supported products and platforms
Serves as a technical escalation point for technicians and customers
Troubleshoots hardware, system and application issues
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Analyzes business process and practices in an effort to focus the design and implementation of information technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives. Collaborates on an on-going basis with the Programmer/Analysts. Applies skills and procedures within functional area
