About the role:
The Information Technology (I.T, Sales & Marketing Business Partner serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Sales & Marketing leadership and to their teams. He or she builds, maintains, and delivers an I.T. strategy aligned to business goals. As a business partner, he or she leads the delivery of implementation and adoption of new solutions. Through these built guidelines, maintains a sharp focus on delivering operational efficiencies across the enterprise and promotes the best possible customer experience.

Responsibilities:
Discovers opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and drive business innovation.
Ensures the strategic use of technology capabilities and business process improvements to drive business growth.
Develops a detailed understanding of Sales & Marketing business processes to collaborate as a Subject Matter Expert on behalf of business partners as new technology solutions and improvements are implemented.
Maintains current knowledge of industry technology trends/initiatives and communicates to appropriate business and I.T. staff. Acts as a domain expert and change agent to impact results.
Directly lead external/internal team members in executing the project management lifecycle in software development, adoption management, and ongoing value management to measure the effectiveness of the implemented systems and processes.
Ensures teams embrace and adhere to GxP, I.T. compliance, I.T. security, Sarbanes-Oxley, data privacy, and other risk management considerations into projects and operations.

Position Requirements:
Proven success handling a portfolio of projects and services across multiple business functions in areas such as: CRM software, closed loop marketing, master data management, data analytics, social media, financials, and transparency reporting.
Known track record as a relationship manager/consultant within a global organization providing strategic planning, business process management, technical direction, customer engagement, and communication plans. This includes leading business process re-engineering initiatives and leading the selection and deployment of new technologies.
Extensive experience in both structured and agile SDLC methodologies.
Organizational change management experience in delivering new capabilities and change to the business.
Vendor management experience including vendor due diligence, contracting, and performance management.
Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels throughout a multicultural organization.
Proven leadership skills motivating teams to attain critical goals in a dynamic environment, applying structure and clarity to ambiguous scenarios.
Conceptual and analytical thinker; able to understand, analyze, and synthesize complex business and technology issues and strategies.
Excellent oral and written communication, enabling the business functions and senior management to clearly understand how technology solutions will deliver expected benefits.
Robust project management experience with teams of various sizes and resource mix/skill set in a collaborative, multi-functional environment, to include management of financials for projects and I.T. operations.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences or a related technical or business discipline.
10-15 years of related experience, including 2-5 years in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry (encompassing regulatory compliance and commercialization buildout and/or product launch) serving in a management and leadership role within an information technology service function or as a business process consultant required.
