Job Description :
The Business Development Manager ensures sales growth through aggressive local and national market awareness and account growth within a Staffing Agency environment. This position will understand the staffing industry from both a pricing and service delivery perspective – the single point of contact throughout the sales process. This position also maintains the customer relationship throughout the sales lifecycle, protects the interests of SRI Tech solutions, Inc. by keeping a high level of visibility and communication with the customer, as well as high customer satisfaction.
Business Development Manager Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for hitting sales targets in both revenue and profitability.
Maintains the customer relationship throughout the sales process and during service delivery as well.
Sales funnels are used along with metrics tracking to help with progress reports.
Develops, prepares and presents comprehensive and competitive sales proposals. Continuously evaluates competitive activity and improves sales technique to attain new accounts.
Maintains an awareness of the customers’ business environment and changing needs in order to resolve customer service issues effectively.
Is responsible for organizing operational activities to ensure operational and financial performance is maintained, profit margins and revenue goals are achieved, and other company goals are met or exceeded.
Safety – Creates and reinforces a culture in the branch and at locations that place an emphasis on associate safety.
Ensures the Success of Branch Staff – Ensures highly competent and professional customer service and sales team.
Mentors, Trains, and Coaches – Provides coaching and mentoring to branch and support staff.
Sales and Service Orientation – Creates, coordinates and implements plans to achieve week-over-week sales growth.
Recruitment, Screening, Placement, and Retention of Assignment Employees – Recruits new assignment associates to ensure supply meets customer demand.
Operations/Regulatory Compliance – Creates awareness and reinforces with the team that our attention and dedication to compliance is what sets us apart from our competition.
Strategic Planning – Searches for opportunities to be creative, grow and improve the business.
Cultural – Creates and reinforces a passionate, responsible, creative and respectful culture by encouraging the heart, fostering collaboration and strengthening others.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
3 years sales leadership experience and/or training experience.
3-5 years sales experience.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Excellent communications and mathematical skills, both written and verbal, and ability to persuade an audience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Strong team leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring. Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
Has reliable transportation.
