Summary:
The Business Analyst job family defines skills for formulating and defining system scope using information technology and industry knowledge/requirements, based on both user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements. The job progression identifies responsibilities ranging from assisting, formulating and defining systems scope and objectives to self-directed activities that client''s long term improvements in business processes.
Requirements:
At least 10+ years of IT Business Analysis experience within an Enterprise environment
IT BA Experience creating Process flows, creating use cases, leading UAT, gathering technical requirements, QA, documentation, testing.
Bachelors Degree required (preferably within IT or Business)
- Experience working stakeholders required
- Soft skills, documentation experience required
- Required- working proficiency in MS Office – Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook
Preferred:
IT BA Experience within legal industry/law environment – a plus
2-3 years of Power BI dashboard support/creation experience strongly preferred
Agile/Scrum methodology project experience would be preferred
Constructs program flow charts to describe the processing of data and development of precise steps and processing logic across all platforms preferred
MS Power Tool Suite/MS Flow experience- would be a big plus (process flow diagram creation)
Candidates local to Houston or San Ramon would be strongly preferred.
Education: Bachelors Degree required, preferably within IT or Business related.
Responsibilities:
- Support IT platforms and execute projects for the Law Function Litigation and Matter management team.
- Support/creation of dashboards created in PowerBI
- Responsible for the functional design and architecture of Litigation systems across all technologies and platforms
- Translates user requirements to process and data requirements.
- Converts specifications about business problems into sequence of detailed programming instructions to solve business problems through automation support.
- Provides broad understanding of platforms and applications across all technologies.
