IDEALFORCE has a Contract position available immediately for a Sr Java Architect/Developer to join our customer in Salt Lake City, UT. This is an ONSITE position. Job Requirement / Qualifications:
Our Client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated architect level software developer to rework an existing Java/GWT based system that will integrate into existing systems via SOAP web services and other interfaces. The system that is being reworked is the Application Background Check system. This is the system responsible for managing the criminal history background checks for dozens of different systems.
All code written will use the existing technologies already in use by the Client: Java, GWT, Hibernate, Spring, and SOAP Web Services. No new technologies will be brought to the table. This position will be involved with analysis, design, and will do 85% of the programming on this system. Not only must the consultant be architect level and do most of the programming, it is also expected that they will direct and coordinate the work of other employees on the project to maximize results. The consultant will be doing all of the architectural design, build, and heavy lifting of the system and will be directing efforts of full time employees to leverage them where possible.
In addition, experience with the following technologies are preferred:
- Eclipse
- Weblogic
- Oracle database
- SQL
- Subversion
This position will be involved with analysis, design, and will do 85% of the programming on these systems. Not only must the contractor be architect level, they must be hands on and able to accomplish the project with minimal help by full time staff.
