Under limited supervision, the IT Architect participates in all aspects of application delivery.
The IT Architect will work closely with the developers and other project team members on low to medium scale assignments of minimum to medium risk.
The IT Architect will gather and analyze user requirements, generate conceptual design and develop implementation strategies.
This position requires basic communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
This position also involves extensive interactions with business unit customers requiring the IT Architect to have a good mixture of business knowledge and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

Examine and evaluate current business processes and tasks, and develop ideas for improvement.
Convert knowledge and ideas into better ways of doing business or into new or improved products and services.
Participate in review, evaluation, and recommendation of new technologies.
Assist with the preparation of resource estimates, evaluations, and recommendations.
Identify, control and manage the impact of uncertain harmful technology events on the project and the project deliverable.
Use diagrams to help discover, communicate and understand the problem being solved and develop the software solution.
Use patterns as a fundamental structural organization schema for software systems.
Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company’s Corporate Compliance Policy.
Understand and support the policies, values, principles, structure and behavior of the company.
Ensures alignment to the company’s supported technology stack with all provided solutions.
Promote continuous improvement within the project team.

REQUIREMENTS – BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or Associates Degree in Computer Science with 2 years of Architecture related experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years Architecture related experience.
Typically, 6 or more years of Architecture or related experience (in addition to any experience identified above)
Integration Architect with knowledge in continuous integration/continuous delivery, who works well in a co-located agile environment.
The ideal candidate can Shepherd processes through the organization and understands how to work within the defined AEP processes.
This position will be for building out an integration layer exposing data from a backend mainframe system to create an omni-channel experience with web, mobile app, IVR, CRM, cloud.
Experience with integrating backend to external customer applications is needed.
Oracle SOA Suite required
